Meetings

Throughout the year, SPRC hosts meetings as an opportunity to collaborate and discuss key issues as well as to determine a unified position on policies and principles.

General Member meetings are held monthly and provide members with a forum to stay informed and to give input on policy issues; discuss SPRC’s long-term goals, policies and principles; and an opportunity to exchange regional challenges, best practices, and success stories.

Executive Committee members meet monthly to manage the day-to-day business, set policy goals and respond to issues that require urgent responses.

Bi-Annual Meetings are generally held in February and September. These events are for all members and senior industry official such as FRA Administrator or other senior designated staff, the USDOT Secretary, congressional staff, and Amtrak senior officials. A portion of these meetings are also open to the public. View the agenda from our September 2021 meeting.
